Everyone always asks, “what are your payment processing rates?” The only honest answer is, “it depends.”

Because the card networks (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, etc.) set the interchange rates, which make up the vast majority of the cost of accepting card payments, the types of cards you accept, the mix of credit cards versus debit cards, and how you take cards (online, in-person, over the phone) is the only way to even begin to answer that question, and only for card payments.

However, we also offer flat rate programs (a set fee no matter the type of card, or where or how it is presented for payment), tiered payment programs (where selected types of cards or methods are ‘qualified’ at a lower rate, and the rest are ‘non-qualified’ at a higher rate), and dual pricing (sometimes called cash discount, surcharge, or non-cash adjustment programs) where the costs of accepting cards are passed on to your customers.
